Service Transport, Inc. (STI) was started in January, 1991 by childhood friends Brent Jones and Phil Durham. The two grew up in Greer, SC and each began a career in transportation that culminated with the founding of STI. Between Brent and Phil they have over 80 years of experience in the trucking industry. The company started out in a small office where the two of them made up the entire company. Brent worked the phones and Phil went out and made sales calls. The mission of the company has always been to offer faster transit times, exceptional customer service and going above and beyond what the competition was willing to do. This meant first-class, clean equipment, professional and courteous uniformed drivers, knowledgeable office and sales personnel, on-time pickups and deliveries, and communication throughout every step of the journey. Through hard work and determination, STI began to grow and kept growing to become the top expedited freight and hot shot freight company in the region.

Over the years, STI has established a deserved reputation for providing on-time service and safe, reliable freight transportation. Today, STI employs over 200 dedicated team members, and in 2016 we celebrated 30 Years in business. Our company continues to grow thanks to our loyal customers and the hard work of our professional employees.
