YA Logistics (UK) Ltd has been involved in the import/export trade since the late 1990’s, initially being set up to handle the importation of used vehicles from Japan to Europe.

Within a short period of time the company grew to become the UK’s premier importer of performance and utility vehicles from Japan, bringing in around 2,000 cars a month into Europe.

In recent years we have expanded our vehicle shipping to include other trade markets such as Australia, America and Africa as well as continuing with our Asia to Europe trade.

Our freight forwarding department handles all other types of cargo and we have a team of experienced staff who utilise a variety of logistical solutions, including Roll on Roll off (RoRo), containers, air freight and groupage/consolidation.

Based within the Eastern docks in Southampton we are well situated within one of the UK’s leading RoRo and Container ports.

As well as having agents in all major ports in the UK, we also have a network of global agents based in major ports around the world.

Our mission statement is very straight forward; to do all we can for our customers through personality and determination.

We accomplish this by dedicating one team member to each shipment to ensure our clients receive the highest level of service.

This team member will oversee every aspect of the shipment, from the initial quotation through to the booking and documentation.

Where possible they will handle the actual loading/unloading of the goods, the customs clearance (if required) and be responsible for hiring any third parties.

This provides the team member with total knowledge of every aspect of the shipment, thus providing our clients with peace of mind.
